Inside "The Crown's" Erin Doherty's Dream Home—and How to Get the Look for Your Own

"As an actor, my home is the one place I can really be myself, a peaceful, sacred space to reconnect," says Erin Doherty. Best known for playing Princess Anne in Netflix's award-winning drama about the British Royal family, The Crown, Doherty is famously wry. So it comes as no surprise that after stating this with a straight face in British design brand OKA's latest video campaign, Doherty dons headphones and starts dancing on the furniture.

The room? Part of Erin's "dream home," a fictional space conceived in a collaboration between the actor and the brand. Moody ocean-blue walls delineate the dining room, where a pillow-covered banquette is paired with woven pendant lights and mauve, velvet dining chairs. The color palette is carried through but swapped in a bright living room, with clay-pink walls and blue accents allover. It's all very soft and cozy-looking but also sophisticated, and one can very easily picture Doherty "Curled up on my sofa, candles lit, with a big bowl of pasta and a good film," as she tells OKA is her go-to night home alone.

ED: Minimal but cozy.

ED: A comfy sofa and creatively stimulating art, objects and books.

ED: The morning. Getting up for sunrise is pretty special, when time doesn’t exist.

OKA: Which item goes with you whenever you move?

ED: A good rug will hang around forever.

OKA: What are the ingredients for a perfect night in with friends?

ED: Just food, wine, music and talking.

OKA: You can invite any three people to a dinner party. Who would they be and why?

ED: Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson and Maggie Smith... because, duh.

OKA: Do you have a favorite room in your home?

ED: The kitchen, because it’s where the food is! And where the dancing happens.

OKA: Do you have a signature dance move?

ED: The moonwalk.
