Inside North Korea: Tourist Takes Candid Snaps From Inside Secretive State

Globetrotter Jacob Laukaitis gives a fascinating insight into secretive North Korea - by sharing snaps from inside the mysterious nation.

Jacob, 22, made a film to show the outside world what life is like inside Kim Jong-un’s famously reclusive country.

His series, ‘My Daily Life in North Korea’ includes footage of his group boarding the Pyongyang Metro, climbing to the top of the Juchu Tower - the tallest stone tower in the world - and even riding a primitive rollercoaster.

Jacob originally from Lithuania, told Yahoo, that locals would turn their backs to them in public: ‘I felt like they were afraid to interact with us because they didn’t want to get reported for inappropriate behavior.’
