Insider deals to save money at the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo this week
Here are some tips for finding insider deals to stretch your dollars at the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo this week.
On Pizza Hut Little Buckaroos Day on Wednesday, Aug. 23, admission for kids ages 6-12 is just $2. Kids under 5 get in free all week.
Wednesday also is Buddy Day at the carnival: Buy one wristband and get the second one at half price.
Wednesday is Educator Appreciation Day thanks to STCU credit union. Teachers and other employees with a school district ID get free admission on Aug. 23.
Thursday, Aug. 24, food vendors will be serving small bites for $2 from 2-6 p.m. and the carnival has $2 rides from 2-6 p.m.
Several food vendors also are offering Budget Friendly Value Meals all week starting at $10.
Seniors over 65 and military members with ID get $5 admission every day.
In celebration of the fair’s 75th anniversary, fairgoers who are 75 years old get free admission all week.
Buy a rodeo ticket for Tuesday, Aug. 22, or Wednesday, Aug. 23, and get a second ticket for half price.
General admission concert seating is free with your fair admission price all week.
