'Inspiration from a Flower' exhibit opens June 1 at Watermark

May 27—BEMIDJI — Watermark Art Center's exhibit "Inspiration from a Flower" opens June 1 in the Kleven gallery and will run through Sept. 23, at Watermark, 505 Bemidji Ave. N.

"Many people are drawn to the evocative qualities of flowers," a release said. "Memories and feelings erupt at the sight or fragrance of a flower. For this exhibit, ceramic and print works were selected from the university's teaching collection because the artist selected flowers as inspiration for art."

The gallery is open free to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday — Saturday, masks are optional for visitors.
