Instagram and Twitter appear to suffer outage as users report they cannot post
Instagram appears to be suffering an outage after thousands of users reported problems with the photo-sharing app.
Down Detector, a website that tracks internet outages, showed a large spike in user glitch reports for Instagram beginning around 10:48am Pacific Time on Wednesday.
A similar spike was also visible for Twitter, and some staff for The Independent could not access the site as of early Wednesday afternoon, while others were able to.
Numerous people on Twitter said they were having trouble with Instagram, while some people on Reddit said they were having trouble with Twitter.
