‘Intense’ photos show impact of car hitting ODOT plow

OTTAWA COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) – Slow down and pay attention! That message from the Ohio Department of Transportation as they shared news Tuesday morning about their 16th plow truck hit so far this year.

“These pictures are intense, but everyone will be OK,” ODOT’s Toledo District wrote on social media.

ODOT says the accident was not ice related.

ODOT has been pleading with drivers to pay attention as there have been so many accidents in just the first 24 days of the year.

“Folks, I can’t stress this enough: Pay attention and give our crews room to work. There is NO reason for anyone to be hitting snowplows,” ODOT spokesperson Matt Bruning told FOX 8 this weekend during an interview about the plow strikes.
