Inter Miami, Dolphins and Marlins all play Friday. Want tickets? Here’s what it will cost

It’s going to be a busy Friday night in the South Florida sports scene, with three of the area’s professional sports teams all starting games within a span of two hours of each other.

At 6:40 p.m., the Miami Marlins begin a three-game series against the New York Yankees at loanDepot park in Little Havana.

At 7 p.m., the Miami Dolphins open their preseason slate with a game against the Atlanta Falcons at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

And then at 8:30 p.m., the Lionel Messi-led Inter Miami faces Charlotte FC at Fort Lauderdale’s DRV PNK Stadium for a Leagues Cup quarterfinal matchup.

Trying to get to any of the games? Here’s what you need to know about tickets for each.

Inter Miami-Charlotte FC

Unsurprisingly, Inter Miami ticket prices are the highest of the bunch. The cheapest available ticket on the resale market, as of 10 a.m. Friday, is $109 on SeatGeek. That will get you a seat in one of the northeast bleachers.

Inter Miami is a perfect 4-0 since Messi’s debut, with the soccer legend scoring seven goals in that four-game span. A win advances Inter Miami to the Leagues Cup semifinal against either the Philadelphia Union or Queretaro.

Can’t make it to DRV PNK Stadium? The game will be live streamed on Apple TV+ as part of its MLS Season Pass.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (1) sets up to pass during a joint practice with the Atlanta Falcons at Baptist Health Training Complex in Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Dolphins-Falcons

The Dolphins’ game against the Falcons is their only home preseason game this year. The others are at the Houston Texans (Aug. 19) and in Jacksonville against the Jaguars (Aug. 26), so this is the only chance to get a glimpse of the team in game action before Year 2 of the Mike McDaniel era officially begins.

Tickets are relatively easy to get on the secondary market, with TicketMaster having a slew of 300-level tickets available for verified resale at under $15. This does not include a parking pass, which would need to be bought separately for $25 if you’re driving to Hard Rock Stadium.

The game will also be televised locally on CBS.

Marlins-Yankees

The Marlins are anticipating near-sellout crowds for all three games for their series with the Yankees this weekend and have even set up a transportation hub at Miami’s Government Center for $15 with a complementary shuttle to alleviate potential traffic congestion around the ballpark.

(Parking at the ballpark garages is $30 and first-come, first-served.)

That said, tickets are still readily available. You can get seats in the 300 level for as little as $7 on the secondary market, according to ticket listings on TicketMaster as of 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets in the home run porch in right-center field (Sections 134-140) are going for as few as $10 and there are some seats available on the resale market in the lower bowl for under $50.

If you’re not going to the ballpark but still want to watch, the game is televised on Bally Sports Florida.
