Inter Miami CF’s first regular-season home match in 2021 will be what was supposed to be their home opener last year.

Inter Miami will face off against the LA Galaxy on April 18 at Inter Miami CF Stadium in their first game of the year.

Inter Miami were supposed to play last year’s home opener against the Galaxy on March 14, but that game was postponed — and eventually canceled — two days beforehand due to MLS suspending the season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Inter Miami went on to play Orlando City in their home opener on Aug. 22, beating their in-state rivals, 3-2, for their first win in team history.
