Ukrainian air defenses shot down a Russian missile in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the region’s governor, Serhiy Lysak, reported on Telegram on Nov. 2.

He said that falling debris from the weapon had destroyed two outbuildings.

"At night, our sky defenders, East Air Defense Command, shot down an enemy missile in the oblast," Lysak said. He added that debris from the missile landed in the oblast’s Dniprovsky District, igniting a small fire in dry grass, which firefighters subsequently extinguished.

While the Russian attack resulted in blown-out windows in three private homes, there were no reported casualties.

Lysak also reported that the Russian military had fired artillery at Zelenodolsk Community, in Kryvyirihsky District, although again no casualties or injuries were reported.

On the night of Nov. 1-2, air raid alerts sounded three times in the southeast of Ukraine, due to the activity of enemy tactical aviation.

Ukrainian forces in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast also downed an enemy Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone on Nov. 1, the East Air Defense Command reported.
