Internet Loses Its Chill Over Christina Ricci As Morticia Addams
No, there is no known Addams Family reboot in the works. That didn't stop everyone with a wifi connection from freaking out over this clearly photoshopped picture of Christina Ricci as Morticia Addams.
Ricci, of course, was the pre-Daria punk girl of all of our hearts as Wednesday in the 1991 movie 'The Addams Family.' She was a psycho, a badass, and an all-around lovable anti-heroine. The movie was based on the 1960s TV series and the original Charles Addams cartoon strips.
The original Morticia was played by Anjelica Huston, whose body is the canvas for Ricci's head in this photoshop. Hey, I know that sounds creepy, but we're talking mysterious and spooky here.
The last time Ricci was in Wednesday garb was for the 1993 sequel, ‘Addams Family Values,’ but there's no follow-up in the works.
