Internet provider GoNetspeed expands service in Rochester region

GoNetspeed, a high-speed fiber internet provider, announced last week that construction of its network is complete, and service is officially available to homes and businesses throughout the city of Canandaigua. More than 4,400 locations in the area now have access to the company’s internet service.

"We are proud to deliver gigabit speeds to Canandaigua," said Paul Griswold, senior vice president of global marketing and general manager of New York operations for the company. "With access to high-speed fiber, modern homes and businesses can continue to welcome more devices, providing customers with internet that can keep up with their changing lives."

Residents and businesses interested in signing up for the company's service can visit gonetspeed.com to confirm service availability for their location and schedule an installation.

The company’s fiber internet has already been made available to several communities throughout New York, including Cheektowaga, Depew, Geneva, Newark, Palmyra, Macedon, Seneca Falls, and Waterloo.

The internet service provider recently announced its plans to also expand service to Shortsville and Manchester. Construction on this project is expected to begin in the spring with a goal to offer internet access to around 1,300 locations by summer, company officials said.

GoNetspeed is one of the largest independent internet providers in the east. For more information about and to inquire about service in your residence, business, or community, visit gonetspeed.com.
