Chris Wallace, moderator of the first presidential debate, said that President Trump and his campaign staff arrived in Cleveland for Tuesday's debate without enough time to be tested for the coronavirus. “They didn't arrive until Tuesday afternoon,” Wallace said on Fox News Friday afternoon, after the White House announced that Trump, the first lady and top aide Hope Hicks had all tested positive. Late Friday afternoon, the White House announced Trump was being moved to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a few days as a “precautionary measure.”
Canada is forming its own forensic examination and assessment team to examine evidence and information after Iran's Revolutionary Guard shot down a Ukrainian jetliner in January, killing all 176 people on board. The office of Foreign Minister François-Philippe Champagne told The Associated Press the team will collect, organize and analyze all available information, evidence and intelligence about the Jan. 8 crash near Tehran, and will advise the Canadian government on its credibility. This is yet another step to uncover the truth, hold the Iranian regime to account and seek justice for the families of the victims.
The pros of the flu shot include a reduced risk of getting the flu, which sets you up for saving money on medical bills, a decreased chance of hospitalization, and the knowledge that you are helping protect your community. The cons of the flu shot are mild side effects and the possibility that you may still get the flu even if you get vaccinated. The upside though is that if you get the flu after being vaccinated, your symptoms will probably be less severe than if hadn't gotten a flu shot.
Testifying on Capitol Hill on Friday, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar faced questions about President Trump's coronavirus illness and his refusal to compel his family and staff to wear face masks to Tuesday's debate at Case Western University. “The first family is a different situation than the rest of us,” Azar, who had not testified before Congress since February, said. During his testimony before the House Oversight coronavirus subcommittee, Azar was at pains to defend not only the administration's response, but the president's behavior, which has included downplaying, misrepresenting and mocking the advice of his own public health experts.
U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned Friday that the world is living “in the shadow of nuclear catastrophe,” fueled by growing distrust and tensions between the nuclear powers. The U.N. chief told a high-level meeting to commemorate the recent International Day for Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons that progress on ridding the world of nuclear weapons “has stalled and is at risk of backsliding." As examples, Guterres has expressed deep concern at the escalating disputes between the Trump administration and China.

Lucid Motors, a new competitor in the luxury EV market, posted a video of a preproduction Air sedan tearing around the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in just over 91 seconds. Its time of 1:31.3 came just one second shy of the lap time the Tesla Model S Plaid — the newest performance version of the Model S — set recently. At the debate in Cleveland on Tuesday night, President Trump mocked former Vice President Joe Biden for wearing a mask in public as a precaution against the coronavirus. I put a mask on when I think I need it,” Trump said, pulling a mask out of his pocket. I don't wear a mask like him.
To try this method, put used tea bags in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes and then apply to your eyes for 30 minutes. O'Keefe recommends green tea because its caffeine content constricts the capillaries and blood vessels under your eyes that tighten the skin. Try cucumbers Cucumbers contain vitamin K, which can reduce dark circles under the eyes by strengthening blood vessel walls.

Lee said he has assured Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham that he would “be back to work in time to join my Judiciary Committee colleagues” in advancing the nomination.
The best diet for ADHD includes foods like omega fatty acids, protein, and B vitamins. Polyphenols, which are found in fruits like berries or starchy vegetables like spinach, are antioxidants that can counteract oxidative stress in the brain and may help reduce the symptoms of ADHD. People with ADHD should also avoid foods with preservatives and food colorings, as these have been shown to worsen ADHD.
A healthy Irving is a top 20 player, and he can live forever off his status as the motherf — who clutch-gened the three-pointer in 2016 that helped deliver Cleveland its first championship in more than half a century. Imagine struggling to lead a team to a .400 record and still being comfortable taking a shot at a man, a former teammate, who has led a team to the NBA Finals in all but one of the years you've been in the league.

With Game 1 completely decided and the Miami Heat down two stars, rookie guard Kendrick Nunn entered the game and started to get hot. He drove into the paint and scored, made jumpers and spot-up shots, helping inject some life into a Heat team that had been pretty badly beaten. And with point guard Goran Dragic doubtful to play in Game 2, it'll likely be Nunn that the Heat are going to count on to do it all over again.
Beloved 1980s brainiac Rick Moranis was the victim of an apparently "random unprovoked assault" in New York on Thursday. "Rick Moranis was assaulted on the Upper West Side yesterday. The Las Vegas Raiders will be shorthanded on offense once again this week with two starting receivers and two starting offensive linemen unlikely to play against the Buffalo Bills. Coach Jon Gruden said Friday that rookie receiver Bryan Edwards will miss the game Sunday after hurting his ankle and foot last week in New England and that fellow rookie Henry Ruggs III is doubtful with injuries to his knee and hamstring. The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear a defense by Arizona Republicans of two voting restrictions in the state that were ruled unlawful by a lower court as disproportionately burdening Black, Hispanic and Native American voters, meaning the measures will remain in place for the Nov. 3 election. The measures prohibit absentee ballot collection by third parties and the counting of ballots cast at the wrong polling precinct. The justices will hear appeals of a January ruling by the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals invalidating the provisions as violations of the Voting Rights Act, a 1965 U.S. law that barred racial discrimination in voting.
