Introducing our new variety show for Kansas City sports fans: SportsFeed KC

Welcome to SportsFeed KC, our new weekly showcase for short, fun, sports-centric videos.

We’ll cover sports across Kansas City through fast, fun highlights coupled with a few deeper dives into the games people play — from the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals to roller derby and fly fishing, curling to croquet.

Season one will consist of eight episodes, plus our pilot, which you can view here. We’ll share episodes here on KansasCity.com, or you can subscribe to our YouTube channel to see the latest episodes.

In this episode, we’ll take you to Overland Park, Kansas, where folks learn the art of fly fishing. Our animator and graphic artist, Neil Nakahodo, shows us all the things that Patrick Mahomes is involved in when he’s not on the field. And, we pay tribute to the great Len Dawson, the former Chiefs quarterback, who died last month.

We’ll also talk about the KC Current women’s soccer team, who gave us a look at their practice facility.
