Invaders rigged dam in Kharkiv Oblast with about 650 kilos of explosives

Serhii Bolvinov, head of the investigative department of the National Police of the Kharkiv region, reported the incident on Facebook.

"At the dam, during a check for explosives, specialists found 175 kg of TNT, 68 anti-tank mines and electric detonators - a total of about 650 kilograms in TNT equivalent," the message reads.

He said that according to experts, "this was an incredibly large amount of explosives."

"Just so you understand: according to experts' estimates, 500 kilograms of TNT equivalent was used to blow up the Nord Stream pipeline," Bolvinov added.

He also said that if the explosives near the dam had been detonated, the water released would have flooded several nearby villages and towns.
