‘Invincible’: Steven Yeun returns to the recording booth for Season 2 of the adult superhero show


A first look at the second season of the Amazon Prime Video series "Invincible" has been released.

On Thursday, the show’s official Twitter account posted an image of a reunion between Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun) and Allen the Alien (voiced by Seth Rogen) at Burger Mart.

“Tomorrow, start your day with a hot BM!” states the recent tweet, which has already garnered over 53,000 likes.


“Invincible” is an animated TV adaptation of the Image Comics series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley and Cory Walker.

The Amazon Prime Video show tells the story of Mark Grayson, an average teenager whose father is Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero in the world. Mark’s life completely changes after his 17th birthday once he discovers that he has his own superpowers.

In addition to Yeun, the series’ recurring voice actors include Sandra Oh, J. K. Simmons, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Malese Jow, Zachary Quinto, Ross Marquand, Mark Hamill, Zazie Beetz and Jason Mantzoukas. Meanwhile, actors such as Rogen, Fred Tatasciore and John Hamm have been given guest roles.

Since it premiered on March 25, 2021, “Invincible” has received several accolades, including a nomination for Best Animated Series or Animated Television Movie at the 2021 Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards and a nomination for Best Animated Television Series at the 2022 Saturn Awards

While an official release date has yet to be announced, Season 2 of “Invincible” will reportedly be released later this year.
