Iowa man injured in Highway 52 crash
Dec. 22—CHATFIELD TOWNSHIP, Minn. — One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 52 between Chatfield and Fountain on Friday afternoon, Dec. 22, 2023.
The 2010 Ford F250 was traveling south on Highway 52 when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the northbound ditch near Jasmine Drive, according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report. The road conditions were wet.
The driver, 81-year-old Dean Jude Drew of Guttenberg, Iowa, had non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys.
The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office and Chatfield Ambulance Service also responded to the crash.
