Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, 87, tests positive for coronavirus

Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley — the third oldest member of Congress — has tested positive for COVID-19, his office said late Tuesday.

The 87-year-old Republican received the diagnosis after undergoing testing upon learning he was recently “exposed” to an infected person, according to his office.

“I’ve tested positive," Grassley tweeted.

The longtime lawmaker said he was “feeling good” and not experiencing symptoms as of late Tuesday.

"I’ll b following my doctors' orders/CDC guidelines & continue to quarantine. “I appreciate everyone’s well wishes + prayed & look forward to resuming my normal schedule soon.”
