Ashton Kutcher didn’t get the warmest of welcomes with his latest high-profile gig since setting social media ablaze about celebrity bathing habits earlier this summer.

When the “Punk’d” star served as ESPN’s College GameDay guest picker Saturday at the Iowa State vs The University of Iowa football match, the crowd began to clap loudly and chant “take a shower.”

The 43-year- old father of two was speaking about his new charity initiative when the stadium erupted, which partially drowned out his response.

Kutcher ignored the jeering and has yet to reference the incident on social media but the heckling happened live on television, with clips of the awkward interaction now going viral on Twitter.

In July, the “That 70s Show” alum and wife Mila Kunis, surprised fans about their bathing habits when they revealed on the Armchair Expert podcast that they do not bathe their children every day.

While the two attested that they wash their armpits, face and private parts daily, their remarks sparked a debate about the hygiene of the rich and famous.

While celebs such as Kristen Bell and Jake Gyllenhaal defended the couple by revealing that they, too, don’t wash themselves daily, others like Dwayne Johnson and Cardi B made it clear that they bathed every day.

Last month, the Kutcher clan got in on the frenzy by sharing a hilarious clip of themselves bathing their young kids.
