Iowa State football lands commitment from 3-star linebacker Mason Miller

Iowa State football landed a commitment from 3-star junior linebacker Mason Miller on Monday.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker out of Pine Creek in Colorado Springs, Colo., is the No. 7 player in Colorado and No. 107 linebacker in the country for the 2024 class, according to 247Sports Composite.

Miller held additional offers from Washington State and Wyoming. Washington and Wisconsin showed interest but did not offer.

He helped Pine Creek to a 10-3 record in his junior season. Miller recorded 59 total tackles, including 41 solo takedowns and three tackles for loss. On offense, he rushed for 1,311 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Miller is the fifth commitment to Matt Campbell’s 2024 recruiting class. He joins 3-star tight end Keaton Roskop, 3-star defensive lineman Jace Gilbert, 3-star quarterback Connor Moberly and athlete Danny Inglis.

Iowa State’s 2024 class is currently ranked No. 46 in the nation.
