Iowa State signee Addy Brown to play in McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald’s All-American Game features the top collection of basketball players in the nation. This year’s contest will include a future Iowa State women's basketball player.
Iowa State signee Addy Brown was selected to play in the 2023 game, which takes place March 28 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Brown is ranked No. 31 In the ESPNw/Hoop Gurlz Class of 2023 rankings and is part of a five-person recruiting class the Cyclones signed in November.
She’s averaging 20.2 points, 10.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game for Derby High School in Kansas, which began the season with an 8-1 record.
Brown is the second player in program history to earn a roster spot in the game. Iowa State junior guard Lexi Donarski was the first when she played in the 2020 contest.
Brown is also the second player in her family to play in it. Her older sister Kennedy, who plays at Duke, was on the 2019 roster.
