Iowa woman injured in single vehicle crash near Zumbrota
Sep. 30—ZUMBROTA — A woman from Iowa was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 52 at Milepost 79 on Friday afternoon, Sept. 29.
A 2006 Toyota Highlander was traveling north on Highway 52 and when the car ran off the left side of road into the median and struck a sign. The car then went back across the highway into the east side ditch, struck another sign and hit a fence, according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report.
The Toyota driver, 74-year-old Mary L Steen of RochesterLime Springs, Iowa, had non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys.
The Zumbrota Police Department & Ambulance also responded to the scene.
