Nearly 18 years since announcing the iconic original iPhone in January 2007, Apple is set to release its iPhone 15.

Apple will release its newest flagship phone at the conclusion of its special event presentation Tuesday afternoon.

In July, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced a number of Apple devices and apps, including mixed reality headsets, new health features for the Apple Watch, the addition of FaceTime to Apple TV and more. The presentation will begin at 1 p.m.

The newest iPhone is rumored to include an upgraded 48-megapixel image sensor provided by Sony along with an enhanced periscope lens, among other industrial upgrades.

iPhone 15 availability in the Bucks County region

Once the iPhone 15 goes on sale, customers and Apple fans can chose from a number of Apple retail stores near Bucks County to purchase the latest device.

There are Apple Stores at Suburban Square in Ardmore; in the King of Prussia Mall; on Walnut Street in Philadelphia; and in Willow Grove Park.

Apple also has a store at the Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrence Township, off Route 1 in New Jersey.

National carries such as ATT, T-Mobile and Verizon will also carry the iPhone 15 when it becomes available.

When is iOS 17 coming out

iOS 17, the operating system that manages all of the iPhone's attributes, will be released to the public on Monday, Sept. 18.

iOS 17 is a free download and is accessible on all compatible iPhones by navigating to Settings → General → Software Update.

According to Apple, iOS 17 upgrades the communications experience across iPhone, FaceTime, and Messages; enhances AirDrop; and improves the speed and accuracy of typing, among a litany of other features.

How to watch the iPhone 15 presentation

There are several ways to watch tomorrow's livestream of the iPhone 15 announcement.

Viewers can navigate to Apple's Events Page to watch the livestream on desktop, laptop and mobile device.

Apple also has a livestream channel on YouTube, for those that prefer Alphabet's service.

If not able to watch the presentation, there are still ways to follow the announcement in real time.
