iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Come to Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile today (Oct. 10) announced that it will sell the latest Apple flagships with its Data Boost plans, which give you unlimited talk, text and 1 GB of data at $35 a month (prepaid). The handset will start at $550 for the 16GB iPhone 6 or $650 for the 16GB iPhone 6 Plus.

You can already get the iPhone 6 via the nation's Big Four carriers and major retailers such as Best Buy and Walmart, but Boost Mobile does offer one of the cheapest monthly plans around.

The iPhone 6 was one of the biggest launches for Apple ever, with a whopping 4 million units being pre-ordered within the first 24 hours of availability. In comparison, pre-orders for the iPhone 5 reached 2 million in the first 24 hours. In addition to packing a larger 4.7-inch screen (5.5 inches on the Plus), the new iPhone also offers a speedy A8 processor and a slimmer new design.

Unfortunately, both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have been plagued by bugs and problems since they went on sale. From physical problems, such as a bending body on the Plus, to the giant pool of glitches that is iOS 8, the new iPhones are causing their new owners quite some grief.

If all that doesn't deter you and you're in need of Apple's latest and greatest, Boost Mobile's low-cost options could be tempting. The company's prepaid Data Boost plans also offer unlimited talk, text and 3GB of data at $50 a month.
