Ireland Baldwin says she was mugged, shares images of bruised face
Ireland Baldwin was mugged in a parking lot on Friday afternoon by a cash-hunting woman who thumped her in the face and swiped her belongings, the model said.
The assailant fled in a getaway car with her husband but was arrested by the police, Baldwin said in an Instagram post.
On social media, Baldwin, 24, shared images that showed a bruised triangle of purple skin beneath her right eye.
Baldwin, the daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger, said in the post that cops told her that thefts are up amid widespread unemployment produced by the coronavirus crisis.
