The Jackson District Library-Brooklyn Branch is hosting a free, informative presentation on “How to Build a Butterfly Garden” from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 24, at 207 N. Main St. in Brooklyn. Local speaker John Blair will speak about planting to attract and feed pollinators.

Heart O’ the Lakes Church is holding its rummage sale Thursday, April 27, through Saturday, April 29, at their Brooklyn campus, 7031 Jefferson Road. Intake days are underway as of April 16 and continue through April 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sale days will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27-28 and 9 a.m. to noon April 29. Cambridge Junction Historic State Park is holding an educational and volunteer event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20. The Irish Hills Eagles have the following specials coming up: Today, they are offering $1 and $1.25 coney dogs to go for members only. On Friday, April 21, they will have perch dinners for $10 from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is welcome. Euchre signup is at 6:30 p.m. daily with all card games starting at 7 p.m. for $5. The public is welcome. On Sunday, April 23, they will offer an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon. Costs are $8 for adults and $3 for children. The public is welcome. On Tuesday, April 25, they will have BLT sandwiches with chips for $8 all day, for members only. The Irish Hills Eagles are at 9500 Wamplers Lake Road in Brooklyn.
