The Brooklyn Kiwanis Club has its flag program running again this year. For an annual $40 donation, the club’s flag team will place an American flag in your yard for each of the major holidays — Memorial Day, Flag Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day through Sept. 11, and Election Day through Veterans Day. The South Michigan Food Bank is holding its free fresh food distribution from 3 to 4:30 p.m. May 19, at the Lutheran Church of the Lakes in Addison. Boxes of fresh produce and other staple groceries are free to anyone in need.

Visit Lenawee’s Fare & Pair Wine Trail is being held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 20.
