Irishman wins British Speedgolf title
STORY: The quirky competition combines golf strokes and time taken overall to determine a speedgolf score.
Hogan performed well through the two days of competition, shooting 79 in 35 minutes and 37 seconds in round 1, then 75 in 34 minutes and 47 seconds in Round 2 to give him the lowest combined score which adds the number of shots a course takes and the minutes it took for the course to be complete.
The 6,100 yard, par 72 course saw a record quick finish in the second round as Jamie Taylor-Cauldwell - a runner - completed 18 holes in 29 minutes and 32 seconds - the fastest ever recorded.
The tournament prohibits the help of golf buggies and caddies.
