IRS announces Saturday hours at Taxpayer Assistance Centers Feb. 11
The Internal Revenue Service announced they would be offering special hours at several Tax Payer Assistance centers in Florida on Feb. 11
The IRS said it is offering the weekend hours as part of the IRS’s larger effort to help people during tax filing season.

The special Saturday hours are available at the following locations:
850 Trafalgar Ct., Maitland/Orlando, FL 32751
51 S.W. First Ave., Miami, FL 33130
1248 N. University Drive, Plantation/Fort Lauderdale, FL 33322

Acting IRS Commissioner Doug O’Donnell said the special hours give people more opportunities to get help.
“We’re very excited to offer these additional hours to help people get the services they need because we understand some can’t visit us during the week,” O’Donnell said.

Those seeking in-person help from IRS employees can do so without an appointment from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
