This Is The Most Yorkshire Wedding Ever

A pair of proud northerners are set to celebrate their nuptials in the most unforgettable fashion - with a Yorkshire pudding wedding cake.

Becca Piwinski and Adam Nicholson are the lucky winners of a tiered Yorkshire pudding cake, Yorkshire pudding canapes and - but of course - a gravy fountain.

They lucked out after entering a competition, run by Aunt Bessie’s, to celebrate National Yorkshire Pudding Day (this Sunday, February 7).

Their big day will be held in July on a farm in - where else? - Yorkshire.

Bride-to-be Becca, from Beverley, East Yorkshire, said: “We are getting married on a Yorkshire farm and a giant Yorkshire pudding wedding cake felt like a brilliant idea to wow our guests with.

"We absolutely love Yorkshire puddings and I have tried numerous times to make my own and failed.

“Aunt Bessie’s is the guaranteed favourite every time, which is why we thought we would enter the competition - we never thought we would win.”

Adam added: “We are already so excited about our wedding day and now even more so as we’ll have this crazy wedding cake to show off to our guests.”

Chefs at Aunt Bessie’s spent three weeks designing and creating the ambitious three tiered wedding cake.

Howard Rowell, Development Chef at Aunt Bessie’s said: “As the market leaders in Yorkshire puddings, we’re always looking to take our development to the next level, and what better way to celebrate National Yorkshire Pudding Day than by giving two of our fans one of our finest creations yet.”
