Isaac's Restaurant In Plymouth Closed: Report

PLYMOUTH, MA — A popular Plymouth waterfront dining destination is apparently the latest victim of the coronavirus health emergency.

The online restaurant journal Boston Restaurant Talk reported, citing several sources, that Isaac's Restaurant on Water Street has closed permanently.

The report stated that the closure was a combination of a lease issue and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

While Plymouth is expanding outdoor dining on portions of Water Street starting with road reconfiguration beginning this weekend, the second-floor location of the restaurant made that an ineffective solution its issues.

The restaurant has been at the location for 30 years with upscale dining and fine cocktails. It's food and location near Plymouth Rock made it a popular spot for both local residents and tourists.
