Isn't she lovely? Acworth hosts Daddy-Daughter ball

Jun. 16—ACWORTH — More than 100 people attended the Daddy-Daughter Date Night masquerade ball hosted by the city of Saturday evening. The event brought back a rescheduled masquerade ball that had been planned for March 2020 but was moved because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Guests paid $40 per couple, or $50 for non-Acworth residents, and were treated to a night of music, dinner, desserts and even a chocolate fountain. Some fathers wore extravagant masks with bells and gold embroidery, while others chose more modestly, wearing simple black masks or those to match their daughters' dresses. One group of dads pulled out all the stops, rolling up to the Acworth Community Center in a stretch limousine.
