The Iso Isettacarro Is the World's Dorkiest Pickup Truck
Microcars are all about tidy dimensions and easy maneuverability. They're bare-bones, basic, and as small as possible. That's why the idea of sticking a pickup truck bed on the back of one comes off as wacky. The result, though, is a dorky, adorable car called the Isettacarro.

In case you can't tell by the design, this is a truck version of the famous Isetta microcar, built by Iso, BMW, VELAM, and Romi. This particular one was built in Spain under license in 1957, a with an adorable wood-box bed and a massively extended wheelbase.
Of course, that makes it a relatively long microcar. But it's still tiny among trucks, especially in terms of width. The Isetta was only 54 inches wide and the bed doesn't look to make it much wider, making it a tidy runabout truck for city driving. Surely it can't match the payload or towing of a current truck, but it's certainly cuter than any modern truck with its nine-foot terminator grille.
This Isettocarro will be auctioned as part of The Elkhart Collection from RM Sotheby's. It looks to be in beautiful condition and in a perfect shade of light blue, so the auction house expects it to fetch between $20,000 and $25,000.
