Israeli ex-general threatens 'King Bibi's' record reign
In Israel the man dubbed 'The Prince' will try to knock King Bibi off his throne.
Ex-general Benny Gantz will now have a go at forming Israel's next government after a record reign for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu has said he cannot form a government and is handing the opportunity over to his political rival.
And while the parliamentary math is still complicated for Gantz it's a big turning point in Israeli politics which has been dominated by Netanyahu for the last decade.
In the Knesset it's always about forming a coalition - no party has ever won outright in Israeli elections.
Here is Gantz talking about his dream combination last month.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) LEADER OF CENTRIST BLUE-WHITE PARTY, BENNY GANTZ, SAYING:
"We want to form a unity government based on secular parties like Blue and White, Likud , Yisrael Beiteinu, maybe Labour, but from there on we have the principles, we have the outlines, we have the framework, everybody will be welcome to join us according to our rules. And you have to understand, this is something very important, I'm telling you that the time has come when the majority takes care of everybody and not minority who takes care of one person, it's crucial that we'll get to that point and this is my intent to do so."
As chief of the Israeli military between 2011 and 2015, Gantz was a consensus figure - having headed the institution in which most citizens have served as conscripts.
Gantz has tried to retain that broad appeal as head of Blue and White, a newly formed, custom-made centrist party.
That meant holding fire as Netanyahu's conservative Likud launched personal attacks on him in two elections this year.
But it has also meant skirting political minefields like the question of whether or not he supports Palestinian statehood
That's him dodging the question live on TV as he often does.
Some accuse him of indecision and ideological emptiness.
With Netenyahu facing a looming indictment on corruption allegations one thing Gantz has promised is not to serve in a government under a premier facing criminal charges.
