Issa Rae marries Louis Diame in South of France

It was a big day for Issa Rae!
The actress married Louis Diame in the South of France, she revealed Monday in an Instagram post.
The post featured a series of photos that showed Rae in her flowing white dress, posing with her bridesmaids and alongside her new husband.
“A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawang dress,” Rae jokingly captioned the post. “B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed. C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband.”
Rae didn’t reveal many details about the ceremony itself, but tagged the location in her Instagram post as Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
The 36-year-old star was first rumored to be engaged to Diame in 2019, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Rae co-created, produced, wrote for and starred on HBO’s “Insecure” series, which concluded production for its upcoming fifth and final season last month.
She also starred alongside Kumail Nanjiani in the 2020 Netflix romantic-comedy movie “The Lovebirds.”
