UPDATE: ISU identifies student who died Friday

Oct. 30—UPDATE: Indiana State University, after speaking with the family, is releasing the name of the student who passed away Friday evening.

On Oct. 27, Josiah Wilkin of Terre Haute was transported to Union Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Later in the evening, he was pronounced dead at the hospital, ISU stated in a notice to the campus community.

"ISU continues to respect the family's privacy during this difficult time and will provide more information, including funeral arrangements, as it becomes available. We send our thoughts and condolences to the Wilkin family during this difficult time," the notice said.
