“Itaewon Class” star Park Seo-joon will play Prince Yan, the husband of Captain Marvel, in the 2023 film “The Marvels,” according to an entertainment insider.
On Monday, Daniel Richtman told his almost 300,000 Twitter followers that Park, 33, will not be playing Amadeus Cho, the Korean American successor of Bruce Banner as The Incredible Hulk.
“He’s not,” Richtman tweeted on Monday in an attempt to debunk the widely circulated rumor.

Many fans speculate that the “musical planet” is the planet Aladna, which readers first encountered in “Captain Marvel (Vol. 8) No. 9.” In the comics, Prince Yan is the leader of Aladna, where its citizens communicate through song. He also notably becomes the husband of Carol Danvers.

Marvel has yet to officially announce Park’s role in next year’s “The Marvels,” the sequel to 2019’s “Captain Marvel.” However, Richtman reportedly has a reputable track record when it comes to the Marvel franchise and has also been described as a “reliable insider” in the entertainment industry.
“The Marvels” will see the return of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, also known by her superhero name Captain Marvel. She will reportedly be joined by Pakistani Canadian actor Iman Vellani, who recently appeared in the Disney Plus series “Ms. Marvel.”
“The Marvels” is scheduled to hit cinemas on July 28, 2023.
