Italian Police Survey Damage Caused by Catania Earthquake

More than 100 firefighters searched through rubble following an earthquake in the city of Catania in Sicily on December 26. The quake was triggered by an eruption at Mount Etna two days earlier.

The 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit near the city of Catania in Sicily at around 3.19 am local time, injuring 10 people, reported ANSA.
