It'll be a throwback to the '60s as the Happy Together tour returns to the Wisconsin State Fair

Wisconsin State Fair officials have announced a 2022 main stage show for the second straight day.

The Happy Together tour, one of the most frequent shows to play the fair in recent years, will return Aug. 7, featuring '60s bands the Turtles featuring Flo and Eddie, Chuck Negron (formerly of Three Dog Night), Gary Puckett & the Union Gap, the Association, the Vogues and the Cowsills.

Tickets, $37 and $47, go on sale at 9 a.m. March 10 at wistatefair.com and will include fair admission Aug. 7.

On Tuesday, fair officials announced the first show for 2022, with rap star Nelly and R&B artist Ginuwine as his opening act. Tickets for that Aug. 12 show also go on sale at 9 a.m. March 10, and are priced between $48 to $52, with fair admission included for Aug. 12.

The 2022 Wisconsin State Fair runs Aug. 4 to 14.
