Indiana basketball just received a big-time commitment from the transfer portal.

Kel'el Ware's size

The 18-year-old (who will turn 19 on April 20) stands at 7-0 and weighs 210 pounds.

Ranked as the seventh-overall player in the Class of 2022 by 247Sports, Ware was a 5-star recruit coming out of Little Rock, Arkansas. He received a host of Division I offers, but the only Big Ten school to offer him a scholarship out of high school was Illinois.

Kel'el Ware had a triple-double in high school with 18 blocks

Ware's high school stats were impressive. As a senior at North Little Rock High School, he averaged 20.3 points, 12 rebounds, and 5.7 blocks per game.

One game stands out, however. In November 2021, Ware put up 15 points, 21 rebounds and 18 blocks against Maumelle. Because of his impressive season, Ware was named to the 2022 McDonald's All American game.

Kel'el Ware's stats at Oregon

Ware played in 34 games for the Ducks but started in just four contests. He averaged 6.7 points per game, 4 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and shot 46% from the floor. He also played 15.8 minutes a game.

Ware's season-high for points came on Nov. 24 against UConn, when he scored 18. His high in rebounds was 9 in a Nov. 25 game against Villanova.
