'This IU effort is embarrassing.' Hoosiers face backlash after 'nightmare' blowout loss
The Indiana Hoosiers continued to struggle mightily defensively on Wednesday night as Penn State hit 18 3-pointers on the way to a 85-66 victory.
IU has lost three games in a row, and every opponent has scored at least 84 points as the absences of Race Thompson and Xavier Johnson take their toll.
Andrew Funk and Seth Lundy each made 7-of-12 3s and combined for 48 points.
'We looked lost.' Don't make excuses for IU basketball's effort at Penn State.

The reaction was, well, yeah ...
You know what Indiana basketball needs right now? A pep speech from football coach Tom Allen. Yeah, that’ll do it!

Every single member of the IUBB roster and coaching staff should be utterly embarrassed. Inexcusable that there’s lack of effort and execution from all parts of this team.

This #iubb season has quickly become a nightmare. How, if at all, do the Hoosiers turn it around?

Injuries aren’t an excuse for playing such undisciplined basketball. Those absences hurt, but you can’t just play basketball like this and expect to win. #iubb
