IU vs. Purdue live updates: Purdue avenges loss to Indiana from earlier this season

Indiana vs. Purdue. In this state, that's about as good as it gets.

After a two-game losing streak, the ninth-ranked Boilermakers are out of the Big Ten title race, but they can still derail the Hoosiers' NCAA tournament hopes.

The Hoosiers snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Boilermakers in the first meeting in January, but Purdue has won six straight at Mackey Arena starting in 2014.

It's senior day, so expect Mackey to be loud — really loud.

What a finish! This one was fun. Despite trading leads in the second half, the Boilermakers held on to avenge its earlier defeat to IU.

Four Purdue players ended the day in double-digits. Eric Hunter Jr. led the way with 17 points while Sasha Stefanovic had 15 points and 3 3-pointers. Jaden Ivey and Zach Edey contributed 10 points each. Edey added 11 rebounds and four blocks.

For the Hoosiers, Xavier Johnson led the way with 18 points, 12 assists and three steals. Race Thompson had 9 points and 10 rebounds while Trayce Jackson-Davis put up 15 points and five rebounds. Miller Kopp had 14 points and made 4 of his 6 3-point attempts.

This one is coming down to the wire! Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis has put up 16 points and four rebounds while Purdue's Eric Hunter Jr. has 15 points with 3 3-pointers.

Purdue has 11 turnovers and Indiana has 8.

The rematch between these two rivals has lived up to expectations. Earlier, Mackey erupted after a Sasha Stefanovic 3-pointer. Xavier Johnson is doing everything he can for IU and has put up 16 points and 10 assists so far.

Zach Edey slams one home for his 75th dunk this year, which is second-most in Purdue history. Edey has now registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
