Ivana Trump is concerned about her ex-husband Donald.
“I’m going to be afraid until he gets well and he gets out of it," she told People magazine about the President’s COVID-19 diagnosis. “It’s a very difficult time."
Ivana and Donald were married from 1977-1992 and had three children together: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
“I spoke to all my kids and they, of course, are worried,” Ivana told People. “It’s a stress.”
Trump, 74, is being treated for the illness at Walter Reed hospital in Washington, D.C. The White House gave conflicting accounts of his condition Saturday morning. Chief of Staff Mark Meadows described his vital signs as “very concerning," immediately after the President’s physician Dr. Sean Conley said Trump was “doing very well.”
Trump flaunted the virus throughout the summer and into the fall, often refusing to wear a mask or keep his distance from others.
“He was careless,” Ivana told People. “He didn’t think it would happen to him.”
