Now that their tenure in Washington, D.C., has come to a close, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have set their sights on Miami, rather than New York City, as their new home—and they’re not wasting any time in getting settled in Florida. According to The Wall Street Journal, the former presidential advisers will rent a condo in a luxury building in Miami’s Surfside neighborhood until construction on their home on Indian Creek island in Miami Beach is complete.

Trump and Kushner have reportedly signed a lease on an apartment in Arte, a new oceanfront development designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio. The couple are said to be leasing a large, unfurnished unit, with their rental agreement lasting at least a year. Though their monthly rent is unknown, per WSJ, similar properties in the area typically lease for tens of thousands of dollars per month.

The pyramid-shaped Arte building comprises 16 units, each with direct elevator entry and spacious wraparound terraces. Residents have access to a heated indoor lap pool, rooftop tennis court, fitness center, children’s playroom, and lounge. The ultra-private residence also offers round-the-clock security (though Trump and Kushner will reportedly bring their own additional security detail), and the elevators are secured by fingerprint recognition technology.

As Trump, Kushner, and their three children move into the swanky high-rise, construction is expected to begin on their more permanent home in Miami Beach’s “Billionaire Bunker.” Trump and Kushner were reported in December to have purchased a 1.84-acre plot of land that had been listed at $31.8 million by singer-songwriter Julio Iglesias. The Indian Creek property offers 80,000 square feet of space on which to build out a massive estate, plus 200 feet of private waterfront overlooking Biscayne Bay.
