J&C needs newspaper carriers to ease delivery issues. Here's how to apply
You just may be exactly what we need to get the word out.
The word being the actual Journal & Courier.
Newspapers across the country, including the Journal & Courier, struggle to find enough delivery drivers to get papers to subscribers.
Here's a deal for you: Why our work at the Journal & Courier is worth your subscription
Those interested can visit www.gannett.com/deliver or scan the code included in this story.
For those who love the tactile newspaper, rather than the digital format, this is undoubtedly frustrating. The Journal & Courier deeply apologizes if you have been impacted by the worker shortage.
The J&C knows a loyal team of subscribers expects their morning routine, which includes grabbing the newspaper as the day begins.
We like being part of that morning routine, too.
If you are a subscriber, we want you to understand our challenges and to know we’re doing everything in our power to get the situation resolved.
Please be patient and also let us know when you’re missing your newspaper so we can get your account credited. Call (800) 456-3223 for customer service.
If you are missing a newspaper on a given morning, remember to take advantage of access to our e-edition, a digital replica of the newspaper, which can be found at jconline.com.
And if you are looking for work or know someone who is, we’d love to hear from you. Delivery drivers must have reliable transportation; we’re glad to fill you in on the rest when you call. You can apply at www.indeed.com..
Again, thank you for your business and know that we don’t take it for granted.
