Ja Morant is back, but Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, Tyus Jones won't play vs Clippers

The Memphis Grizzlies got good news when Ja Morant wasn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's home game against the Los Angeles Clippers, but the playing status of four of his teammates wasn't as promising.

Along with Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke and Ziaire Williams, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., John Konchar and Tyus Jones are out against the Clippers. Xavier Tillman Sr. was also listed as questionable, but he's active.

Bane, Jackson, Jones and Konchar are all listed as dealing with soreness. This comes after the Grizzlies defeated the Orlando Magic 113-108 on Tuesday. This is the last back to back the Grizzlies will play this season.

Morant is joined by Tillman, Luke Kennard, Dillon Brooks, Santi Aldama and David Roddy as the regular rotation players who are not on the injury report. The lack of depth could create minutes for rookies Jake LaRavia, Kenneth Lofton Jr., and Kennedy Chandler.

The Grizzlies (48-27) have a 12-game home winning streak and a seven-game winning streak overall. This is the first of two meetings at FedExForum with the Clippers (40-36) over the next three days.
