Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the biggest NBA stories in the last two weeks. The attention has led to Morant ranking second among Western Conference guards in the latest All-Star fan voting update.

Morant (1,633,313) edged past Luka Doncic (1,410,605) after the Mavs star was second in last week's update. The rise comes after Morant won the last two Western Conference Player of the Week honors, making him the first player to do so this season.

Stephen Curry (4,463,426) leads the entire NBA in voting, followed by LeBron James (4,396,392) and Kevin Durant (4,088,334).

The Grizzlies (29-14) are the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference and have the NBA's longest winning streak at 10 games. Morant is averaging 24.9 points, 6.7 assists and 5.7 rebounds.

Marc Gasol (2015) is the last and only Grizzlies player to start in an all-star game. He's also the last player to make it (2017).

This current voting is to determine starters, which will be announced on Jan. 27. Fan voting counts for 50%, while media and players make up 25% each. James, David Fizdale and Gregg Popovich are a few of the coaches and players who have been complimentary of Morant's game.

Reserves will be selected by NBA coaches and announced on Feb. 3.
