LOS ANGLES − An upbeat Ja Morant got a facetime call in the locker room after the Memphis Grizzlies lost Game 3 to the Los Angeles Lakers. On the other end of the phone was boxing superstar Gervonta "Tank" Davis, who scored a TKO victory against Ryan Garcia an hour earlier Saturday in one of the most anticipated matches of the year.
Morant praised Davis for the victory, and now he's expected to be gifted with the boxing gloves from the fight, Morant told The Commercial Appeal.
