Ja Morant will have a different look in the Memphis Grizzlies' game against the Denver Nuggets.

Morant was listed on the NBA's Friday morning injury report with a nasal fracture injury. While he's listed as available to play, Morant is expected to wear a mask for the Friday night showdown against the Nuggets (9 p.m., ESPN, Bally Sports Southeast).

When Morant suffered the injury is unknown.

Wearing masks in the NBA has become a new sensation. Players like LeBron James, Richard Hamilton, Kobe Bryant, Joel Embiid and Kyrie Irving have all played a role in normalizing the masks by wearing them with style.

Most recently, Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown debuted an all black mask at NBA All-Star Weekend that caught the attention of onlookers.

It's unclear how long Morant will need to wear a mask. Morant is one of the best point guards in the NBA at attacking the paint, so he'll have to trust his nose and mask to have that same aggressiveness.

There will be an adjustment, but star players in the past have shown that you can still thrive in a mask.
