From Jack Nicklaus to Patrick Cantley, here are the past Memorial Tournament winners

The Muirfield Memorial Tournament, which is held annually at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, was first played in 1976 and is one of only a handful of "invitational" tournaments on the PGA Tour.

The 2022 tournament begins June 2.

The Muirfield Memorial Tournament is played on the golf course designed by Columbus' own Jack Nicklaus (who has won the tournament multiple times). 

Last year, Patrick Cantlay won his second Memorial Tournament in three years after defeating Colin Morikawa in a playoff. The third-round leader Jon Rahm had to withdraw with a six-stroke lead after having a positive COVID-19 test.
