Jackknifed semi, debris causes lane closures on I-75 in Dayton

A jackknifed semi-trailer caused traffic delays and lane closures on Interstate 75 in Dayton Saturday morning.

Crews were called to reports of a semi-trailer that had crashed into a wall and jackknifed on I-75 North near Stanley Avenue around 9:30 a.m.

No one was taken to the hospital despite the damage, according to Montgomery County dispatch.

Video from Ohio Department of Transportation Cameras shows large debris on the southbound side of the highway and part of the median missing.

As of 2:15 p.m., The left lanes are closed on the northbound and southbound sides of the highway as crews work to clear the scene, according to ODOT.
